MIXING COMPARATIVES AND SUPERLATIVES:

Many of our students use a comparative when a superlative should be implemented. For example, a student might say something like ‘tea is the more popular drink in England’. Obviously, the superlative ‘most’ must be used here (i.e. el más popular). As you can probably see, we can’t use ‘more’ since this is the comparative version.
